ARTIST Biography - Dana Perea Bloede
I am interested in all things vintage, eclectic, the shabby chic, flea markets, everything and anything beautiful, especially old stuff, vintage or antique. I have an eye for design, color and a passion for painting, jewelry design, sewing, glass sculpture, religious iconography, photography, woodworking, traveling and gardening. I live in an urban Chicago suburb called Forest Park. I have a lot of energy which is mostly sucked out by numerous art projects or studying for college where I am a Sociology major with no real plan afterwards. Among doing various artsy things, I also teach art workshops for kiddies and seniors, am in a constant state of selling my paintings and doing as much community art outreach as possible. The rest of my days are spent with my husband and tween son or aimlessly walking the streets of Forest Park with coffee in hand and dog on leash.
